Learn the basics of sewing zipper pouches while making a 6.5"h x 11"l x 2.5"w pouch perfect for holding sewing tools. HEC101: Hand Embroidery Skill Developer - The Chain Stitch
Good news! Chain stitch embroidery does not require a machine. In this 3-hour workshop, we will practice the classic chain, an easier reverse chain, and four ways to add a second color to your chain. These are fun, easy stitches that can create flowing lines, text, or fill a shape. Saturday March 14, 1-4pm $50

ISM101: Introduction to the Sewing Machine
Are you interested in learning how to sew on a machine? Before diving into your first project, you may want to get acquainted with the fundamentals of sewing, the sewing machine parts and its different attachments and their uses. This 2.5 hour introduction runs you through different stitches, needle basics and how to maintain and clean your machine. We will practice basic seam techniques, cover fundamentals of fabrics and so much more. You can bring your own machine or if you don't have one, use ours and see if you want to invest in one. Saturday March 7 or March 28, 10am-12:30pm

We will focus on pattern adjustments, tailor sewing techniques and I'll share a few of the tricks and short cuts I've learned over the years. Are evenings best for you to sew? Want to work on a project with others and get help? Starting in August, we will be doing Third Thursday Of the Month Evening Sews. Starting in March you can use the tools, machines and get assistance on your projects on the 3rd Thursday of the month , March19, April16, May 21, 6-8:30pm. $25/session.
